The Circus Theatre Festival will show a wide range of contemporary developments in the new circus. Creations and presentations of new and young producers of Dutch and Flemish ground will have ample space to present themselves.
Leading international companies will form the main program; due to their attractiveness they will be sure to attract the interest of the public as well as the media.

Every day there will be several shows in the program, and on the weekend several matinees. In between the different shows there will be short presentations from amateur companies and young producers.

The performances of Dutch and International companies will have a central place in the festival. During the week there will also be other activities, which will add to the acknowledgement of the new circus as a full-grown art discipline:
* A seminar about the New Circus;
* A theme day presenting the youth circus;
* An exposition

The festival's location will be arranged with a colourful collection of circus tents and similar accommodations. Of course the tents are mainly meant for shows and presentations, but will also be used for workshops, readings and debates.
